Just some thoughts

The other night, when I was trying to get the boys settled down for bed, Kolby would not settle down. I decided to let the boys sleep in my bed with me since Brandon is gone during the week anyways. Kolby ended up having a small melt down and was crying that he wanted his Daddy, I explained that we would see Dad soon, and that in a few weeks we'll all be living in the same house again, he was still sad and crying and Cooper said to Kolby "Dad had to go to work, but mommy's here" and then he reached over and put his little hand on Kolby's cheek and said "Cooper loves Kolby". Right after this Kolby settled down and they cuddled up and went to sleep. It was one of the sweetest moments. I love my boys, and am so grateful to be their Mom. I love seeing the strong bond that is forming between them. Even though more often than not they are fighting or arguing witnessing the small moments when they comfort each other, or are protective of each other are what make being a Mom so great.
